With 9 years international and New Zealand experience in hand crafted log home's
and post and beam building. Aspiring Log Homes, which is based in Beautiful Dune is building houses for all climates, all locations and all designs.

We are happy to continue with the traditional tested time pieces and equally happy to integrate log homes with new or old materials including mud, straw-bale, traditional framing (hybrid log homes) and create feature pieces.

We don't think in terms of decades with our buildings we think in centuries, so if you are looking to build for the future you have come to the right place. There are log home still standing today that were built 1000 years ago.

We are currently designing a combination of Log home and post and beam buildings to suit the more urban housing market with houses that will stand strong to earthquakes and look at home in the city limits. We hope that our specialised houses will help with the Christchurch re-buiid. Any input that you may have we would love to hear it.

Feature Home Design

Below is a log post and beam design we have been working on in order to fit next to any home on the street in any urban district, as well as in the bush. Complete with 3 bedroom + guest or study, 2 1\2 bathrooms and open plan living. This Log post and beam home brings you the bones to withstand mother nature e.g Earthquakes and the warm heart and soul that a home should bring.
