Working with Wood

I enjoy working with wood of all shapes and sizes.  The beauty in a tree can be maintained and enjoyed in many guises.    


A bench can be made using the scribing technique as used to build houses.  
Scribing can also create log- garages, -dog houses, -saunas...  Anything log _____ can be made - all you need is an idea.  Get in touch and we can take it from there.

I'm equally happy working in traditional log home styles as I am trying something new.  The tried and tested approaches are well deserved of the following they have.  If your view requires something more unique or you have existing materials you wish to incorporate, I will work with you to make it a reality.

Take a look at the photo of the bus in the gallery.  The owner wanted a little more space, an 'outdoor area' and had numerous old trees, planks, windows and french doors to be recycled.  This variation on post and beam is just as rewarding for the occupants as it was for me building it.
